The Name: Amma Resonance Healing Foundation

The Resonance Healing Foundation part of the name speaks for itself considering the goal of the foundation. The addition of Amma to the foundation was made for several reasons.

One reason is that since the history of the ARHF started with Peter Chappell's inner call to heal AIDS in Africa an African name would be appropriate. Amma is the Sky God of the Dogon, the Creator of the Universal Egg - the unformed universe that contained all the seeds or signs of the world - as well as the Creator of Mother Earth from clay.

Amma is also Mother Divine in Hindu mythology. In the Vedic Tradition, the name Mother Divine refers to the nourishing, evolutionary power of Natural Law lively within all of creation and within the silent consciousness of everyone.

AIDS is a disease born out of a disharmonious interaction between male and female principle. In the name Amma thus the Divine Male Creative power and the Divine Female Nourishing power are joined together to heal and harmonize by resonance the relationships between humans, as it was Peter's compassion and creativity that together resulted in a new technology of creating healing resonances.
